  • 1937 9n ford Ferguson rebuilt the hydraulics about 6 months ago bought the complete kit worked great till last week, will not pick up a load works fine with no wait on it. i can get off the tractor and lift up on what ever i want to lift and then it will work , is there adjustment on the hydraulics, don't want to tear it back down if i don't have to ,HELP

  • took me a while ,but didn't want to start on tractor till I could stay on it,pulled right side cover ,no fluid coming from cylinder. drained about a gal or so to see about half the pump nothing coming out their, now what , don't understand why it will lift and go down , but will not lift a load, need more input

  • Could be a number of things.

    Remove the right side inspection cover and look inside with flashlight to see if oil is running down from above.

    If so, from end of cylinder or gaskets between cyli8nder and lift cover or between lift cover and center housing.

    Always determine if leaking before disassembly.
