  • I can't adjust my clutch enough to disengage the pto from spinning.
    Gear grind when trying to switch gears.
    1952 8n tractor.

  • Replace the pins in the linkage. Then adjust the rod from the pedal.

  • I would check the rivet and part that is connected to the crosstube. The have been known to fail. If not that you may have to split the tractor and check the forks and rivet on the shaft inside. FO-4 fig 190 item 19 on outside and #10 on inside. also the throw out bearing and or fingers on clutch may be worn. Heck the clutch plate may be swollen up with oil. been known to happen.
