  • I have the loader off to repair the radiator and want to replace everything under the hood while itís off. I canít find a wiring diagram anywhere. Does anyone know where to find one?

  • Where have you looked for wiring diagrams? Have you tried your Essential Manuals? They are very valuable tools if you don't have them. You know the OEM Ford electrical system is 6V/POS GRN right? If you have done a 12V switch out job, there are specific things that get changed over. Manuals have the original wiring diagrams with original wiring harness color codes listed. Use for reference only - new wiring harnesses aren't all the same colors nowadays. Use a VOM set to continuity, not a test light. Start here...

  • According to Dennis Carpenter website, if I read it right, that is good for all 55-57 Ford 6 volts.

  • Yep, the wiring and components are all the same for '53-'59 gasoline (NAA, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900) Tractors. They all use the same starter motor, generator, VR, AMMETER, IGN Switch, coil, and distributor. Timing is different -see manuals -parts and specs all the same.
