  • Naa Valve?
  • Have the top cover off and fluid drained. there seems to be some sort of valve in the right hand lower section of the center housing close to the pressure tube. What valve is this? I am thinking it is a relief valve. I would like to replace it while I am in there, but am unsure what to call it , much where to purchase one. Thanks!

  • Thanks! Another question-the cam follower pin is worn, is that pin the same size/pn as the pin that the piston hits when all the way back in the cylinder? Mine is bent. Also what are the part numbers?

  • They are not the same size. the cam follower pin is 374072S 5/16 x 7/8. the other pin is V32720 (old number is 73376S18) 3/8 x 1.75.

  • That is the back pressure valve and they don't give any trouble that I am aware of. You do need to remove the acorn nut and back the screw out before installing the hydraulic cover. After the cover is on screw it back in and replace the acorn nut.

  • I see the external acorn nut and that valve. It is on the right side, high on the RH side of the housing. If you now look down past that valve into the bottom of the now drained fluid housing you will see another something else in the very bottom that could be another "safety" valve. Thanks for the response!

  • The one in the bottom is the pressure relief valve. You need to remove the pressure tube and the valve goes down through the bottom.

  • The part number is NAA638E and you can get one from any place that sells Tisco (SMA) parts.
