8n 12 volt starter switch
1950 8n 12 volt how do I wire the starter switch/button ? Can it even be done with 12 volt negative ground ??

No change. The switch and wire doesn't know the difference.

Guess I should have added I bought a new solenoid from ebay saying it was for a 8n but grounding out the small terminal does nothing. Positive activates it.
Sounds like I need a different solenoid?? Who sells the correct one ?

Had the solenoid mounted backwards LOL
All fixed !
