Losing oil pressure after oil change
Drained old oil. Changed filter. Installed drain plug. Added 5 litres of oil. Started tractor….oil pressure went right to 50 PSI. After running for a couple minutes the pressure started to drop and when it got near zero I shut it off. Something simple? Getting older is the pitts! Ideas?

Sounds like it took a little time to fill the filter canister. Are you using straight weight oil or multi-viscosity?

Using 20W50 oil. Yes, I usually remove the old oil from the filter case and then replace with the new. I forgot and did not refill before installing the new filter. My bad. All OK now. Dave
