  • Flat drive belt for Dearborn cordwood saw
  • I need a flat belt for a Dearborn cordwood saw . I am having trouble sourcing a 4 and 1/2''inch or 5 inches belt about 9'feet long. I have all the equipment and slices to make to make the belt . Anyone know of a source for the raw leather belt material. It needs to be 1/4 inches thick , 4 and 1/2 '' or 5'' inches wide and 9 'feet long . The actual footage is about 102 and 1/2 inches but I will probably be buying by the foot. I have struck out on all my local sources and Ebay is not promising. Thanks for any and all replies.

  • As UD tells you, any dealer who services round balers can provide modern belting that will work.

Leather belting is quite another matter, but you might try Paper Pulleys, Inc. in Columbia, TN.

  • Talk to an implement dealer that sells round balers. They should be able to help.
