    Description: This is our 1948 Ford 8N that my wife and I just ‘adopted’ on August 3, 2026. Tractor is in fair but very weathered condition. It fired right up and ran good — until it flooded out due to carburetor problems. Hood is rough and the grill is bent. Some wiring will need redone but is currently functional. Tractor has been converted to 12 volt system and will primarily be used for snow removal and mowing brush. In time I hope to restore it. NOTE: Tractor has these unusual (to me) brackets fastened to the front axle beam. (See attached photo.) Any help in identifying them would be appreciated. TIA!
