Specialized War Tractors (WW2 N's)

I posted a thread like this one a while ago over on the main board. Somebody out there has got to have some info on the N variants that were supplied for war use. Of course, I bought the remains of Moto Tug to restore and everybody knows that.

What I am talking about are other variants. The book by Wagner on the history of Ford Trucks shows a row of what look like brand new 2N's with turf tires and big pusher bumpers on the front. If you look really close, you can see the same crooked neck parking brake handle that I have on the Moto Tug. That means that they probably had the same hydraulic brakes used on the Tugs. That would have been a factoty deal, not aftermarket.

Then there is the picture on the RCAF historical website showing WW2 Canadian Air Force N's with a BIG air compressor and tank on the back. Who made those and how many of them were there?

Somebody out there has got to know something. How about Mr. Brock? Is there a way of getting in touch with him?
