Hiya Gang-
As I was browsing through the original 9N FORD/FERGUSON PLOW BOOK Instruction Manual ( the turquoise cover ) I noticed, on page 5, under the subtitle LUBRICATION, it reads:
"Lubricate the following points daily with grease gun furnished in tractor toolkit: (1) Coulter Hubs (2) Furrow Wheel Hub (3) Furrow Wheel Bracket..."

Now Don Barkley has an original 1940 9N Parts Book that lists the grease gun as part number 9N-1717125-A and my 1941 Parts Book lists it as part number 9N-17125-B. We know the cars and trucks were furnished with the small Alemite grease guns, but does anyone have an original 9N Tractor grease gun? I have an original Dearborn grease gun ( P/N 250001 )but that came later and is the larger one that holds the 16 oz cartdige. If anyone can shed some light on these grease gun part numbers, an actual picture of one would be great, please share this information with us.
