Justin.....the dipstick [9n-7137a] was used up to serial number 47508 according to my parts book.I would guess the reason they changed the position of the dipstick was because it appears to be a safety problem,and would not efectively show the oil level in the hyds.Just my guess.Aluminum hoods were on about the first 200-700 tractors,depending on who you ask.Aluminum steering boxes,dash,grills,doglegs and tranny covers lasted a little longer.If you really want to know about those items,post back and we can suppy you with more defined dates or serial numbers. don b
