It pretty much decimated the black family unit by incentivizing having children out of wedlock. We now have a couple of generations of black men who grew up without the positive influence of having a father in the home. When young men grow up where their role models are pimps and drug dealers, because they have the nice clothes, awesome cars, and women galore, it is easy to connect the dots on how this has impacted society.

Couple that with race-hustlers and politicians telling them they have no chance to succeed simply because they are black, and that just continually stirs the pot.
