It appears that this is not over.

Approximately 40 shadow fleet tankers have reflagged as Russian recently, about 20 in the last few days.

It has also been reported that soldiers disguised as crewman are now being deployed on such tankers.

It remains to be seen what might happen if/when the US attempts to seize one.
