I put an orc onto my 2N and now the brush hogs' two part shaft is about 4 3/4" inches too long. The driveshaft (male and female square shank) are only 12" long..could I cut up to 5" off each end and run the bush hog with only 7" of connected shaft?
With the universal connections, the whole length would be about 17"
I used to run this implement with a Kubota BX2200
anybody ever saw one down? is it safe? TIA
