I need to do a little upgrading of my air hose to tool couplings. Well mostly because the few I do have are something like 40 years old and I don't know if that style is available any longer. Haven't seen them in the stores for some time anyway.
So, taking advantage of this new forum again to ask the question...What is your recommendation for a good air line fitting/coupling type, brand, size, etc.?
I bought some blue poly air line that snags my feet and tries to trip me every time I get around it so I'm looking to change it to a rubber air hose as well.
I don't use a whole lot of air tools but the one tool that I have, my 1/2" impact, needs plenty of air to take advantage of the torque it can produce. Other tools I have are air drill, spray guns, stapler, pin nailer, and would like to add a small parts blaster at some point.
I know I could go to the big box store to buy fittings but I don't think choosing the right fitting is all that easy.
