  • 19-80 Dozer Blade Frame
  • I have a Ford 19-80 front dozer blade on my Jubilee. Besides the obvious use for snow plowing in the winter, it gets used grading dirt and gravel. Even though it has the impact springs, sometime it takes a hit encountering frozen snowbanks or partially buried rocks that seem to surface around here. As a result, the "A" shaped tubular steel frame that the blade attaches to has gotten broken a few times. With my limited welding skills, I continue to patch it back together, but I was wondering if these are available as a replacement anywhere? That is part 194663 from what I see in the old parts lists, but perhaps someone has one surplus to their needs?

  • Having not seen it I'm only guessing here. So this is only a suggestion, measure the tube go to the local metal supply yard and get a section of same size tube but get in the 1/4" wall thickness. Cut out the old tube and replace with new (stronger) tube,if you think that might not be strong enough they also make a 3/8" thick wall tube or you can get bar stock the same width and weld sisters on each side of the tubes. just my 2 cents worth,I do this kind of stuff all the time and like you I'm not a professional welder, but pretty good at it. If you could post pictures and some measurements I could give you more precise info.God Bless, Beth and Allen.
