I have a Woods RD7200 finish mower that the gearbox seized on it. I found a gearbox for a Rhino finish mower that appears the same. Same 1 3/8" splined shaft and mounting holes match. The seller said he thinks the ratios are slightly different. What would be the issue with having slightly different ratios?

I haven't been able to find a gearbox for the woods.

Any chance you could rebuild the original box? Its just a big lawn mower so I don't think the rpm's would be to critical, as long as you don't get to crazy with it.
