ford/ferguson plow frog
does anyone know of a plow frog that would bolt up to a ford/Ferguson plow leg and allow the use of modern/available parts. I know on my Deere plow the holes never changed (between the vintage and new) and I was able to put new frogs on and now can easily find replacement parts. I'm looking to fix up a Ferguson 12A plow. it's in good shape but I dont want to break these parts. thanks for any help

Re: ford/ferguson plow frog
Newer ones will work on your beam but you also need the tailwheel assy. from the bottom you are using since the landside brace will interfere with the Ferguson tailwheel.

Re: ford/ferguson plow frog
Scott, You said newer frogs will bolt up... did you mean a newer Ferguson bottom will fit? I want to update to something that will be super easy to get. I know FORD parts are hard to come by too. I just want to make sure I buy something I can use. Thanks for the tip on the tailwheel assembly. This is a 12 inch plow, I know they're not that popular. I was looking at everthingattachments.com Thanks, Josh

Re: ford/ferguson plow frog
I changed an old Ferguson plow to the later type Ford plow by changing the frog, share, and landslide parts. The 3 bolts that mount the frog to the plow beam are the same for the old and later economy bottom type.
