  • hi i have purchased a ford 8n with a dearborn loader that has broken the loader shaft do you need to remove the front axle and how much hydraulic oil do the loaders take thanks thad

  • Thad, we have owner's manuals for many Dearborn loaders posted here in our Manuals section. Match the manual to your loader and you can get info on capacities.

  • By loader shaft I assume you mean hydraulic pump drive shaft. That can be replaced without removing the front axle. If you have one of the older style drives you may find it worth your while to replace the crankshaft pulley and hub which does require removing the axle.

    Reservoir capacity depends on the make and model of the loader.
