Hello, for those who have the cast iron pan that uses the custom 4½" Funk pulley. My pulley does not have bolt holes, only guessing the others don't. How are you running your FEL (front end loader) hydraulic pump?

Are you talking sbout a tractor with a Funk conversion? The OEM oil psn was cast iron.

I have a Dearborn Industrial loader that was new with my '41 9N The manual for it is on this site and it describes how the front had pump is installed. Maybe take a look at it. Not sure at this time if mine is bolted on to the pulley.

I read through all the manuals and none of them have a loader on a Funk.

You could try calling Derek Barkley at Just 8N's in Shelby, NC about a different pulley. I do not know if the pulley they sell will fit your crank and it's a tad smaller in diameter. They also sell the driveshaft adapter and driveshaft.

But, you'll also have another issue to solve if you can get the pump adapter. No factory loader that fits an 8N will fit your Funk conversion without extending the frame to the rear axle. You may be able to get a loader for a later Ford to fit, but that's also a guess.

Best of luck with it. If you get it, come back and share a photo. I've never seen a pic of a Funk conversion N with a loader. Would love to see it.

Talked to a man with 4 or 5 Funks apart in his shop. He is pretty sure all of his have two bolt holes in them. Mine is as cast on the face so I'll need to have it cut true then tap the holes. Assuming it is thick enough. Looks kind thin to support any rotating mass. I'll know better when it is torn down.
