cut out and dynamo. Battery doesn't charge.
Hello, I'm french and I don't speak english very well. My problem: my battery doesn't charge (when I disconnect the battery, my tractor stops). So I changes the cut out and bought another dynamo (from the States). But it's the same, my battery doesn't charge. Someone has an idea? Someone can send me photos of his electrical wiring (dynamo, cutout, resistor block)? Thank you very much Cyril

Failed to look at your pictures. From what I see I would suggest you run a dedicated ground wire connecting the dynamo, cutout and battery. Jack - Iowa

Re: cut out and dynamo. Battery doesn't charge.
Good Morning Cyril, As a start, you should be able to find your wiring diagram in these: They are arranged by year. https://www.ntractorclub.com/howtos/pdfs/JMORs-Wiring-Pictograms.pdf Sounds like you have a wiring problem so you are on the right track. As Ed wrote, let us know more specifically what you are working on. Good Luck, Jack - Iowa

Hi Cyril! Welcome to the N Tractor Club! Can you tell us the year/model of your Ford tractor? I assume by "dynamo" you mean what we would call a generator? Is your battery 6 volts? Thanks..........Ed
