Headlight Switch
I need a simple wiring diagram of a headlight switch. Where do you hook the hot wire to and Is the headlights grounded to the sheet metal of the hood? Thanks J52J

Re: Headlight Switch
Depending on your model and year, you connect the hot wire from your headlight switch to the center connector on the ballast resistor or the switched side of the terminal block. I would ground my headlights to a bare metal area of the hood instead of the headlight shell.

Re: Headlight Switch
Ed. The tractor is a 52 Jubilee (NAA 01149). And I just installed a One wire 12V. Alt. on it with a internal resister in the coil. It had a 12v. system on it but under the dash looked like a bowl of spaghetti. I just didn't know what to do to install the Head lights. Thanks J52J

Re: Headlight Switch
Even on your Jubilee, you should have a terminal block mounted on the engine side of the dash. Your alternator, coil, and ignition switch should be connected to it. Do you have one installed? If so, connect the hot wire from your headlight switch to the opposite connector to the one where your ignition switch is wired.
