Shannon,
I'm in Wickford RI, zip code 02852. I gave up trying to find it. Yes it is the bar that connects the two cutter blades to the gear box shaft underneath. Instead of it being flat it has what I would call dog legs at each end so it fits up inside the mower deck. The numbers below are from the New Holland web site. They make two, one is completely flat and the other is offset. Naturally they have the flat one but not the one I need. I'll see if I can get a digital image to you of what it looks like.
The bar itself is about 1 inch thick and maybe 18 inches long offset -----______-----, as opposed to flat ___________. Just to give you a crude example. I went to the New Holland site and looked up your model, looks like yours has a clutch feature which mine does not. The cutters on the 951 are attached to the center bar on bolts that allow them to swing back out of the way when they hit a obstruction. I'll be in touch.

Mike
