Not a fourty niner but, I had my NAA run rough one time and I came to discover that I had opened the fuel shut-off too many turns and it was in the reserve area but the tank was nearly empty. Some junk in the fuel tank was plugging the filter in there. I put some gas in the tank and it smoothed out. I think that gas caused the junk to float so it wasn't clogging the filter. I took the tank off and cleaned it really good.
