I redid all the ignition system About a year ago. Do most of these new parts like points, rotor, condenser, and cap and coil, made in China? My ‘41 9N is now not starting. I get intermittent spark, and sometimes it will fire, but not on all cylinders. This morning, it ran good and fired right up. As the day progressed, it started to miss a little. I shut it off, and now it won’t fire. I did check for spark, didn’t get any. I let it set for an hour or so, and got intermittent firing, but won’t run.
My question is: I have a feeling most of these ignition parts are now manufactured in China and are junk. Any of you have come across this problem? These condensers are made so cheap, I suspect…
