What this guy was saying was Ford address the weight distribution on the 8N, but I see no evidence of this and even the manuals don't support this. Basically the 9N, 2N and 8N had roughly 40% front and 60% rear weight distribution. If Ford address this with the 8N, then the numbers would be closer together, front to back. I think the guy was thinking of the larger tractor Harry Ferguson wanted, the experimental NP7 (which I think became the Fordson E27N) made some headway in that. The guy quoted Harold Brock, but he did work on the NP7 and also went to England to work with Fordson.
