Welcome to the NTC, Kathy! If the brake pedals are on the right side, both the left and right, then you have an 8N tractor. The 9N and 2N tractors had the brake pedals on each side. Moving both the right made steering a whole lot easier. We will help you define what model you have then you can get the correct manual. You should get yourself a good manual by I&T called F04 for the 9N, 2N, and 8N tractors. READ them good and be aware of what you can and cannot do -SAFETY FIRST!
