kurt, the tractor was running and when i lift the back blade and shut off the tractor it does slowly fall to the ground.(takes 1-2 hours at the most to fall completely). it is very hard to see inside through the inspection cover but i couldn't see anything else that had a leak of any amount, but small ones could have been missed. thanks for the help. looks like time to start getting parts and i will go through zane's post again and make sure there isn't anything else i should check before tearing into it.
