What brought you to the point of replacing the distributor?
Was it running the same way before introducing new parts?
In one of your posts you questioned the firing order - Plugs are numbered 1-2-3-4 from front to back. Firing order is 1-2-4-3 counterclockwise as in the pix that JMOR posted.
Running on one cylinder would be quite a feat - Not saying it isn't, just not plausible. Other cylinders are helping and there remains the question of correct firing order.
Should you install new plugs, Autolite 437's gapped at .025 are preferred.
