About two or three years ago while at my CNH dealer, a parts customer had his vane pump on the parts counter. Beside it was a new CNH housing/rotator/vane assembly in a CNH box. The customer did not buy it because the price was nearly $800. I advised him to go to a salvage yard for a piston pump and matching manifold, which he said he would do.
I do not know if the vane assembly was something that the dealer had had in stock for a long time or whether he had ordered it but at least one was available at that time. Don't know if he still has it....
