Thanks, Steve. I'm guessing that I did not use a brand new disc. My recollection is that it was a used - but very good - disc. The tractor has been sitting for at least a year, so a stuck disc is a real possibility. So I blocked it down. A few minutes ago I was walking by the tractor and I heard a little "tick" sound. Maybe it's un-sticking itself. I'll check it in the morning. It would be nice if that solved the problem! I do have room for adjustment.
