I like your bleeding procedure. Might try that next time. When I did my 660, before I rebuilt the pump, I plumbed a clear plastic hose back to the fill hole under the seat and ran the tractor until the bubbles stopped. Then stopped the tractor and replaced the plug. That worked until I lost prime again (pump seal and shaft where shot and needed to be replaced)
I got my CNH flat style manifold "O-rings" from Messicks. I think the shipping cost more than the seals. But it was small money. I had them in two days.
