Thanks everyone for your responses. If it wasn't a case of liking the old 8N, I would probably put it on the block to sell. Since I did that once and went out and brought it back in , I guess I need to give it some TLC and think more about what all I can do on the engine. I already have a lot invested in it, way more than it is worth so sinking another 1000 or so in it bothers me a little. Anyway, will try to soak the rings and take care of some leaks. Might be good for a time anyway.
