Tractor Jack Stands?

I am gonna be replacing the front tires, hubs, seals, and trying my luck with painting said hubs on our '52 8N and am wondering what do you guys use as "jack stands" to keep up both front axles for periods of time safely??

Currently we only have car jack stands, which are shorter than I need, and blocks of wood. That seems kinda not strong enough for what I need to do. Am I being overly concerned? Where can I find what I need?
