G'day there cobber,
Lookin for paint 9N, then nip down to your neaerest massey dealer and look at their paint range.
AGCO and Vintage ranges, both stock ferguson light gray 3620512 M4 (now superceded) and Stoneleigh Gray 3620507M5, which latter of painted my 1942 2Nan. s/no9N101715, purists her in UK dinnae ken any better !!
As long as it looks like battleship gray, it is the colour. when these tractors arrived here UK during early war years on Lend Lease from the states, they endured weeks on board tramp steamers in convoy, crossing the atlantic dodging u boats.Paint quality was none too great on arrival and many repainted in whatever gray paint that could be found.
You could also blend your own, cheaper than buying expensive enamels.
Hope this helps
