Fellows you come through as always.Good advice!!! This is my 6th. engine but never this far (complete)and never this much pull.I've done all things except I didn't do plasti guage.All working services were rebuild lubed and torqued in steps,,then turned.I used the dry rope seals on the rear and the neoprene seal on the front with lube.All went well till the pan and thats when it "got real tight".I can turn it smooth with my socket and 1,1/2 ft.handle but at 73yrs. I guess I'm using the wrong "pull source".As per your help I believe I'm good to go.THANKS
