Wow, it sure does. The shadow line even looked like the I-beam type until I enlarged the photo. It wouldn't occur to me to try and reinforce them that way. It will take a lot of work with torch and grinder to make that look original (easier to scrounge a replacement). That's another photo for the "farmerization" folder, GRIN.
