Thank you for the input on the hottest engine areas.
Was unfortable to paint the engine with genral purpose Krylon or Rustoleum Walmart spray paint like Rustoleum, stops rust brand, sunrise red.
When recently acquired my first 8N , the thing is a basket case with zero oil pressure and did not start or run, the engine now is broken down into parts.
Wonder if any memeber has put an IR temperaturement measuremnt device on the engine
and measured the actual engine temperature at different locations.
