It's generally done by installing remote hydraulics on your tractor. You can see one example in the Accessories manual that we have in our Manuals / Accessories library (click link below to download it). We should have more manuals posted on remote hydraulics in the near future.

That said, I'm not sure that you will be happy running a log splitter from your tractor's hydraulics - it's gonna be pretty slow. If you already have a splitter that is set up for a 3-point mount and you just need to get it operational, then the remote hydraulics setup will get you splitting. If you haven't purchased a splitter yet, my choice would be to get a 20 ton horizontal/vertical splitter that I could tow to the work site. A 5hp B&S engine will operate the splitter faster.
