Since I borrowed dads 8N high crop to plant the sweet corn & I took it back to his house I still need a way to top dress it & cultivate it with my Dearborn 2 row cultivator/side dresser, so we decided to spread out the ole '48 & I decided to use my grandpa's Dearborn tractor jack he bought new in late '48 for his '49 8N he bought new. It really helps out since you need to spread it out all the way & you have to put a center to the other side to make the wheel tread travel in the right direction. Thought I'd share some pics of the process even though I know people has uploaded videos on youtube, still was fun to use the one my gradfather bought new & used, the last pic was it all the way off the ground, we put it in postion control of course so it would not be to high off the ground taking the rears off, just high enough to walk them off.
