Well guys I replaced "Woewoe"'s Hydraulic pump and piston. (got issues) Also changed oil, serviced breather, changed points and changed fan belt. Now I got Issues with hydraulics. First what I did… using the manual, I sez to myself "Why not check the adjustments while I got it down?" To get 3 9/16" on constant draft spring, had to tighten adj. bolt all the way down. (implement position control lever in proper position for all adj.)after tighening the implement position control spring all the way the swivel would still not come into contact with the collar on the constant draft spring. I loosened the constant draft spring (making it longer than 3 9/16") so that it would contact the swivel with the pin in contact with the cam.
Issues.
1. Control works, draft does not unless you push down on the selector lever.
2. Control works but wont stay where I put it. I think there is one sweet spot where
it will stay. When I raise it it continues to slowly creep up.
3. There seems to be a lot of lift arm travel for very little quadrant movement.
4. When raising lift comes about half way then slows down a lot and creeps up with
rapid jerks coresponding to the pump.
I had to work on it on the floor I couldn't lift it to the vice. I'd sure like some info cause if I take it off again, I want it to be the last time.
Happy Trails, God Bless. John
