No, I did not get left and right switched. And it was not out of grease June 10th. As it happens I replaced the Steering Shaft Housing as mine was bent and I could not install my new steering wheel.
Also, mysteriously a splat of grease appeared on my oil pressure gauge, apparently from the steering gear.
My thought is one of the gear sectors has lost a tooth which is jamming the unit. It's staying in place when I turn full left and back is odd in my opinion. There has been considerable play in the steering.
