Steve,,a couple of questions,you say you are going to "fully disassemble"before painting.Would the process come out better if you were to paint all cast parts "togather"so as not to watch the dings and scratches during assembly? On all the cast parts I've always painted assembled and all sheet metal parts seperate.Now,,the media that was used did they have a "soda" media blasting.One of the restoration/parts company that post here uses "soda"blasting and I've seen this.Nice & smooth.Yours is coming togather REAL swell !
