Does that mean removing the entire hub, seals, axle shaft, etc., or can the axle housing be removed as on piece, the nut tightened, and the axle put back on without disassembling the whole kit and caboodle? Is this something that can wait or is it something that needs to be fixed right away?
With an engine lift or chain fall, you can remove the left trumpet as an entire assembly. Tighten both left and right side nuts, install a new gasket and reassemble.
The leak is more of a nuisance - What concerns me is using the lift with a loose pin for an extended period of time will wear out the tapered bore of the receptacle and become more difficult to seal.
