I did not figure it out yet but it may have to do with the 9N9510 and 9N9510A. 1939-1940 carbs have a stamped code on the side with B on top and 2 numbers on the bottom, starting in 1941 they used a stamped date code of 1 for 1941, 2 for 1942 etc. Maybe 1941 is when the A suffix came out?
