Hi everyone,
How do I know if my governor is working properly on my Ford 9n tractor?
I was earing a rattle noise in the governor sometime hire resolution a friend of mine wanted to remove it and look to see if there was anything wrong inside, when removing the 2 little screws on the table one of the 4 ball bearings came out by it self
he brought a modification by adding 2 washers on top of the little bearing on the shaft so now when playing with it up and down with cup the ball bearing do not come out anymore
back on tractor NO MORE NOISE but the idle arm trotle have change position and it seems like when the tractor force like example I have a bucket for snow it tend trying to slow down the engine almost to stall the engine when pushing or lifting snow.
My question is: was is normal the way it was before making a bit of noise?
should I put it back the way it was?
your help is appreciated
Serge
