I repaired them...a lot of hammering and welding on the tin work....the fenders were actually shot...but that work I could do cheap and it was a two year project so when I got tired of it I would throw it in the corner and then a month or two later pick it up and whale on it again for a bit. Not body shop beautiful but passes the 20/20 test.
