It would be useful if you might share with us who you got them from, or the name of the importer or manufacturer if labled, so we could make a point of avoiding them in the future. Sometimes there is another vendor selling better ones, though too although too often lately it seems there is just one shop in China or India making them for everyone, so they are all bad. It's useful to know which, as the supply of OEM parts in cosmoline is getting low.
I've been toying with buying of of those cheap 1-3/8" PTO shaft assemblies that seem to be everywhere lately, but fear exactly this sort of thing.
