8N Implement Postion Control

I 'think' that is the problem. Hydraulic does not hold postion, slowly creeps up or down when mowing or using the blade. I used to be able to reposition impliment control with a piece of wood or a small flat stone, but that doesn't work now. If you think that is my problem, can I adjust the postion control without taking everything apart and off the tractor?
