Hi, All the rotor,cap and distributor are new after market type but seem to be an acceptable quality. My main concern now is if the gear was put back on at timing marks but I can't see them without pulling the cover off. Is there any other was to check for gear condition or placement maybe like pulling the governor out and accessing thru there? If I bring #1 cylinder to TDC I am thinking the rotor should be on #1 plug wire. Thank you for the quick response. I am new to this site and am enjoying the information. I will try to post photos later.
